Frequently asked questions
How long is the set – and can it run longer?
Playing time is booked by the hour. If the night is going well, an extension on the spot is possible by arrangement and is also charged by the hour.
What equipment is included?
Depending on guest numbers and the room, one of three equipment levels – always with sound system, a wireless microphone for speeches and spare equipment. What each level includes is on the services page.
What happens if something fails?
Spare equipment comes with every level. If Ulrich cannot play, you will hear straight away and, where possible, a replacement from among fellow DJs will be arranged – Ulrich is well connected through DJ ALLIANZ.
How much space and power is needed – and when is it set up?
The DJ booth usually needs about 2 × 1 metres, a little more for larger equipment levels, plus a normal power socket nearby. Set-up is usually one to two hours before the start; set-up and take-down are included in the equipment price.
Is there music during dinner, speeches and programme items?
Yes – subtle background music for dinner, and a pause with wireless microphone for speeches and programme items. The schedule is agreed in advance with the venue and the contacts.
Are music requests and no-gos taken into account?
Yes. After booking there is a wish list and a no-go list in the customer area, optionally with music requests from guests via link or QR code. On the night Ulrich adapts the selection to the dance floor.
How far do you travel?
Celebrations across Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria, corporate events Europe-wide. Up to 80 km from Illerrieden travel is included; beyond that, travel is charged per kilometre and an overnight stay as incurred.
